Happy Easter Everyone!!!

Easter is now upon us with Good Friday nearly all wrapped up. What a week it’s been with Brisbane going into sudden lockdown. So glad everyone can now enjoy their holidays away with family and friends. Whilst we enjoy the time away even if the weather doesn’t want to be on our side, let’s not forget the true meaning of the season. Now what to do around Noosa, if your one of the lucky ones to get accommodation in this busy season. Well first have to mention FREE buses are back yelp from today until 18th April so leave your car in the resort and bus it to the beach or River.


Don’t let the prediction of wet weather get you down, plenty of activities to keep you and your family entertained these holidays and Easter weekend.


Noosa Leisure Centre

Kids Playroom – for preschool age kids, it’s all about the soft play equipment, trampoline and jumping castle, it’s only a room so not large but entertaining for this age and only $5 per child.


Basketball lovers – you can shoot some hoops for only $4 per person best to book in your court

Right next to the Leisure Centre so make the most of the time. Tuesday 6th April 2-3pm – join the professional storyteller Fairy Poppilina reading ‘The Three Little Pigs’ and ‘A Squash and a Squeeze’ Cost is $5 per child, adults are free. Bookings required call on 5329 6555

Meet the Easter Bunny – Saturday 3rd April 10 – 1pm. FREE selfie with the Easter Bunny. Bookings not required.


This shopping center is putting on Balloon sculpting workshops Tuesday 6th, Thursday 8th and Friday 9th April at 10am – 1pm. Yelp Free. Bonus bookings are not required. Whilst you are there get your shopping completed and have a play on the playground also in the center.


Noosa Civic

28 Eenie Creek Rd, Noosaville


If you miss the balloons at Noosa Fair then the Noosa Civic has Miss Donna roaming around doing balloon creations too on Tuesday 6th April – Friday 9th April 10am – 12pm daily. All FREE again. I got to spot Miss Donna last year at a Christmas event she’s a great entertainer too.


Once you have gained your balloon creation then be amazed by Nickleby the roaming magician on the same dates but between 1pm – 3pm daily.


Noosa Cinema

29 Sunshine Beach Rd, Noosa Heads


Yelp always the best go to on a wet day or for us a pre-holiday adventure when we went and saw Peter Rabbit 2 the week it launched. Great kids’ movie and entertaining enough for adults too. Plenty of movies out for the holidays to enough in the newly renovated cinemas.


Coolum Flicks in the Park

Just as mentioned above we have now seen Peter Rabbit 2 at the cinemas. Guess who’s playing Peter Rabbit yelp Coolum flicks in the Park. Saturday 3rd April at 6pm screening at 6:30pm at Tickle Park. Must prebook on www.eventbrite.com/e/peter-rabbit-coolum-flicks-in-the-park-tickets-145366307539

Bring your picnic rug, blanket and dinner. Enjoy the movie with the sounds of the ocean in the background.


Ginger Factory

50 Pioneer Rd, Yandina


Ok we can’t go past holiday fun times without visiting the Ginger Factory sometime these holidays. They have your Easter entertainment covered from 2nd April – 18th April 9am – 4:30pm. Easter Entertainment consists of free compass and map from the Ice Creamery just ask. The Farm House with colouring station, story book corner, giant jenga, twister etc. The carrot patch – where you can watch all day “The Gruffalo’s Child movie” After watching the film go on your spotting of the Gruffalo characters around the rainforest. Plus, the train, boat and playground still to enjoy plus much more.


Enjoy the Easter egg hunts on Sunday and all the fun holiday events that are happening in and around Noosa.
