List of Eateries all around Noosa...

Noosa is known for it’s events and eateries here on the Sunshine Coast. You have variety of options around from the Noosa Marina in Tewantin, to further along Gympie Terrace in Noosaville right on the Noosa River. Can’t go past the most famous street, Hastings Street with all the fairy lights in the trees all year round and restaurants right on the beach. Also have the choice of the Noosa Junction only up the Noosa Hill from Hastings Street.

Before we look at my favourite spots at each location how about the next big event here in Noosa the ''Noosa Eat and Drink Festival'' happening this year, Friday 4th December to 6th December. Theme is a Summer Celebration at venues around the Noosa region. Meet local and visiting chefs and producers from Hastings Street to the Hinterland, from the villages to the beaches and along the river. They have everything covered from restaurants to distilleries, steam train rides, DJ Party, picnics, beergustation and more. You must book in and some events are already sold out so don’t wait a minute longer. Bookings and more details through: www.noosaeatdrink.com.au

Noosa Marina

Noosa Italian Restaurant and Pizza

Hours: Tuesday – Saturday 11:30am -2:30pm & 5:30pm – 8pm and

Sunday 9am – 2:30pm and 5:30pm -8pm

Right at the end of the pier on the right hand side when first entering. It’s authentic true North Italian Region Cuisine with wood fired pizzas on the menu. Stunning outlook out onto the Noosa River.

Café VinCino

Hours: Monday – Friday 8am -3:30pm Saturday and Sunday 7:30am -2pm

Option to sit inside or out on the deck, just be aware like the day I went it does get quite breezy on the river but amazing views down the Noosa River. Very reasonably priced selection of gourmet sandwiches, salads, deluxe burgers and seafood dishes. Let’s not forget the thick yummy smoothies or if you prefer glass of wine or coffee they have you sorted.

Gympie Terrace

Maisie’s Seafood & Steakhouse

247 Gympie Terrace

Hours: Lunch 11:30am -2:30pm and Dinner 5:30pm till late

This restaurant, my family and I are about to try tomorrow night. Ordering the seafood platter for two. You really must read up on the history on the website it has been running 100 years this year started in 1920 as a café, first of it’s kind in the district. The dishes look mouth watering, keep you posted on social media how it was.

Depot Café

4/239-245 Gympie Terrace

Hours: 7am – 3pm Everyday

Another café I am in need of visiting especially when I met one of the owners today at the playground. Love supporting locals and the community here in Noosa. Just take a look at their facebook page and those dishes look so yummy. No better way to start the day with all day Breaky menu.

Amo Gelato

2/201 Gympie Terrace (Thomas Corner)

Hours: 6am – 9:30pm (Summer Hours) and Friday and Saturday 10pm

They have you covered for your caffeine fix but what I go their and the kids is the homemade ice creams so delicious and the most affordable ice cream shop around. I mean it’s nearly our tradition every Thursday for morning tea. Yelp a little addicted.

Hastings Street

Where do you start with Hastings Street I mean I don’t get out at nights as much anymore but when I do Hastings Street is my highlight spot with fairy lights in the trees all year round, flood lit beach by the boardwalk lights or best in the full moon. Everyone all dressed up and ready to enjoy a night out. So many restaurants to mention from burgers joints to high class restaurants and the in between, most cuisines are catered for, and all with different atmosphere.

Ok so here are a few of my favourites:

Bettys Burgers

No need to dress up, fun environment and perfect if you get the bench at the front to do your people watching. Great cheap family spot. Quick turn around.

Zachary’s Gourmet Pizza Bar

My go to for a restaurant that is affordable big menu, mainly pizzas. May I add great for the kids with a tv going and cruisy atmosphere over split level.

Bistro C

Of course is very famous right on the beach restaurant many great memories here with friends and family. Sophisticated and definitely want to dress up. Variety of meals on the menu but always must go a seafood dish they do it so well.

Kaali Gourmet Indian Restaurant

Very peaceful at the Noosa woods end of Hastings St away from all the hassle and bustle. We sat outside and even had blankets for us on each chair. Great traditional Indian dishes made with love just watch how spicy they can get, order what you can handle.

Aromas Noosa

This restaurant is defiantly the ultimate people watching spot with couple chairs turned out to Hastings Street just like in Europe whilst people sip on their hot drinks and eat delicious food.

So many more fabulous places to dine and try yourself here in Hastings Street.

Noosa Junction

Ok I have to admit haven’t dined here that much in the time, very different atmosphere, but if you prefer to be out of the hassle and bustle of people watching and want to find a park a little easier then this is your spot.

Montezuma’s Mexican Restaurant

81 Noosa Drive

Hours: 11:30am-2:30pm and 5-9pm

Always my go to, for Mexican night out, large restaurant with lots of options to pick on the menu you can’t go wrong, except for over eating the dishes are large portions.

Light Years Asian Bar and Diner

1 Sunshine Beach Road

Hours: 5-11pm Everyday

Well this place sure looks interesting and amazing, Noosa being one of three locations and only started 3 years ago. Always love a good modern Asian restaurant with all the twists on the traditional they have. Sounds like great atmosphere with the soundtrack as described as fun, the lights dim and the vibes high. Sounds like a win for sure and another one on my to do list.

Now that I have just made you extremely hungry and jealous this is all within a few km's of me. That's the thing you get to enjoy and explore more when you are relaxing and dining out on holidays. So next time your here come and support the local restaurants and cafes that did it so tough over covid strict times.
